feather drive

about

feather drive is made by sumit paul, an independent developer in india, who builds and supports it on his own.

it's a mac app that puts google drive and dropbox in finder and streams files instead of downloading them, so big files open the moment you click them and never fill your disk. it's a small, independent business: no investors, no ads and no selling of data.

how it treats your files

  • your files go straight from your mac to your own google drive or dropbox. no feather drive server ever receives them.
  • it only sees the files you put in it: google's drive.file permission, and a dropbox app folder.
  • optional end-to-end encryption means not even we can read them. see security and the privacy policy.
